Accreditation

The San Gemini Preservation Studies (SGPS) program is affiliated with the Department of Conservazione e Restauro dei Beni Culturali at Università della Tuscia. Students who complete the SGPS Mural Painting Conservation Program will receive a certificate of participation and completion issued by this university.

This certificate is not an Italian university degree. It simply attests that the student has successfully completed a qualified specialization training program.

At present, the SGPS Mural Painting Conservation Program is not accredited by any universities in the United States. While SGPS is associated with West Virginia University for its summer conservation programs, this affiliation does not apply to the SGPS Mural Painting Conservation Program.
